The new score has been edited based on numerous sources, including the autograph manuscript, the original parts from the first edition, and the latest critical editions from Europe. A cadenza composed by Beethoven himself is included at the end of the score. It was created using the autograph manuscript and piano duet arrangements by Czerny and Krack, among other sources. The commentary is a reprint of Saburo Moroi's detailed musical analysis.
