Editions Orphée continues to bring to light unknown or forgotten works by François de Fossa. Here, the composer adapts the overture of an opera by Gaspare Spontini, a celebration of the glorious accomplishments of the conquistadors, led by Cortes. The opera would undergo numerous rewrites and multiple performances in various venues. For advanced guitarists.
