Beschreibung
This arrangement of the ancient Portuguese lullaby José embala o Menino features warm, oceanic rocking harmonies and an original, more wakeful central section. The melody forms the theme of the longer work Sea Voyage, commissioned by the Julian Bream Trust for Portuguese guitarist Diogo Carlos, and was inspired by Montserrat Figueras’s celebrated recording.
