Beschreibung
Practical Etudes, composed by Masa Matsuura and supervised by Shoichiro Sotoyuki, is a collection of etudes for euphonium players of all levels, from beginners to advanced, who wish to deepen their musical approach. It is designed to deepen understanding of classical style, gradually cultivate proficiency in all keys and a wide range, and naturally develop expressiveness and a rich sense of pitch through daily practice. It not only hones technique but also fosters the ability to construct and express music independently. While primarily etudes, it is a book that allows for enjoyable melodic compositions and long-term engagement. A helpful one-point advice is included at the end of the book. Furthermore, variations No. 39 and No. 41 can be challenged to be completed as complete pieces with piano accompaniment, depending on your skill level.
