As in all Grade .5 compositions, this song is playable after only a few months of study. The ranges are like those in the first half of most beginner books. This march consists of only quarter and half notes until the very end where the same melody as before has eighth notes - just for a little spice to finish the composition. The percussion play eighth notes throughout.
