Written during the Covid-19 pandemic, WANDERING MIND translates the constant motion of rushing thoughts into a mercurial, searching duet for flute and bassoon. Flutists will be eager to discover this new three-movement work by the much-admired composer of Two Skazkas, while bassoonists will delight in Al-Ahmad’s first work for their instrument.
